DroidCon set for second UK splash as event hits London on October 6

Making a return trip to the big smoke after last year's run out, organisers behind DroidCon have confirmed 2011's conference will hit London from October 6.
The two day event, which will take place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, is designed to bring together the Android development community in what is described as an "informal environment".

Developers are encouraged to share ideas with each other, as well as showcase their apps and tackle industry experts.
"After some morning introductions everyone is invited to add their talk or conversation point to a list of topics assembled on the day," organisers WIP and Skills Matter said in the run up to 2010's DroidCon.
"The most popular items are then allotted time in rooms according to their popularity with the attendees."
Tickets are usually £200, but the first 50 applicants can pick theirs up for an early bird price of £50. More details can be found on the event's website.
