The Busan IndieConnect Festival 2026 (BIC 2026) brings together indie developers and players from around the world for a three‑day celebration of creativity, innovation, and community. As Korea’s leading indie‑focused games showcase, BIC continues its mission of being “of the developers, by the developers, for the developers,” offering a vibrant space to discover new titles, meet creators, and experience hands‑on gameplay. The 2026 edition features both online programming (August 7–28) and an onsite festival (August 14–16), giving global audiences multiple ways to connect with the indie scene. 

This year’s festival expands its reach with programs like Connect Pick, a non‑competitive showcase curated by passionate community supporters known as Big Connectors. This category highlights previously released or exhibited games, ensuring a diverse lineup that prioritizes engagement and discovery. Alongside competitive categories, developer meetups, and community‑driven events, BIC 2026 continues to strengthen the bridge between creators and players, making it one of Asia’s most anticipated indie game gatherings.
