The Digital Futures Institute: Festival of Storytelling 2026 runs 2–4 June and celebrates the art, craft, and impact of storytelling across fiction, non‑fiction, science communication, digital media, music, theatre, journalism, film, and more. Across three days of workshops, masterclasses, panels, performances, and creative sessions, the festival brings together King’s academics, award‑winning authors, broadcasters, and leading creatives to explore how stories shape our world and help us imagine possible futures.

Programming spans writing sprints, reading sessions, zine‑making, game narrative workshops, podcasting discussions, sci‑fi conversations, and a keynote from journalist and broadcaster Samira Ahmed. Events begin with an opening reception at Science Gallery London on 2 June, then continue across King’s College London’s Strand Campus on 3–4 June. All events are free and open to King’s staff, students, and the wider public.
