FROG – Future and Reality of Gaming 2026 returns to Belvedere 21 in Vienna from 20–22 November, bringing together researchers, developers, educators, policymakers and creators to explore how games shape culture, society and emerging digital realities. Known for its academic‑meets‑industry approach, FROG blends keynote talks, research presentations, interactive sessions and community dialogue to examine the impact of gaming on learning, ethics, accessibility, wellbeing and technological innovation.

Across three days, attendees engage with leading voices in game studies, XR, AI, serious games, and digital culture, while also participating in workshops, debates and networking formats designed to foster collaboration. FROG’s unique interdisciplinary focus makes it one of Europe’s most insightful events for anyone interested in how games influence—and are influenced by—real‑world systems, communities and future technologies.
