Exit Games targets connected Android games

Connected games specialist Exit Games has announced that its Neutron online multiplayer gaming platform now supports Android.

Developers creating games for Google's mobile OS will be able to use Neutron to add social gaming features to their titles, including real-time multiplayer, in-game chat, high-score tables and micro-transactions.

Neutron also enables Android games to work cross-platform with titles on other gaming platforms, including iPhone, PCs, games consoles and social networks.

"It was natural that we added Android support as the platform gains steam in the global mobile markets," says CTO Christof Wegmann.

"Neutron's key attribute is the ability to easily integrate multiplayer and social gaming features no matter what device or network technology is being used, and we're pleased to now offer Android among our portfolio of supported mobile platforms."
