Facebook Gaming director Bob Slinn joins FunPlus as VP of business development

Former Facebook director of game partnerships Bob Slinn has joined FunPlus as its vice president of business development.

Slinn previously worked at Pogo/Electronic Arts and Yahoo Europe before joining the social giant, where he headed up its EMEA region for games as well as building out the Facebook Gaming creator program. Now based in Switzerland, Slinn will report to chief business officer Chris Petrovic, who himself joined FunPlus from Zynga in late 2021.

Slinn will be responsible for leading the company's western market strategic business development efforts, including IP partnerships, platform relationships and leading developer relations - in terms of strategic investment and M&A activities.

With more than 2,000 staff and offices in Spain, Sweden, Russia, United States, Singapore, Japan and China, FunPlus is best known for its strategy titles: State of Survival, King of Avalon, and Guns of Glory.

In recent months, FunPlus has expanded its management team hiring former NetEase director Michael Tong as chief strategy officer, Dianne Schepers as general counsel and Wei Wang as chief creative officer.
