First Samsung Android handset due in June

The future of Android is becoming increasingly uncertain - at least as a mobile operating system. Developers are apparently none too enamoured by it, and while handset manufacturers are finding it easy to implement and adapt to their hardware, carriers are still sceptical about its appeal to the end user.
Hopefully, a few extra devices might chivvy interest along, and Samsung appears to be the one to do it. It already announced three Android handsets are in development, the first of which has just been officially unveiled (alongside another which was recently leaked).
The I7500 is, at least on paper, a pretty impressive bit of kit. Its a sleek device, being as its touchscreen, and comes with a 5 megapixel camera, wi-fi and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA connectivity.
O2 has picked up the German rights to the handset, with an expected release in European territories in June.
