Although it seemed like Adobe had all but given up on the prospect of enabling the iPhone (and iPad) with its Flash framework, Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch has been speaking out on the company blog about his feelings on such popular devices missing out on the prolific amounts of Flash content out there.

"Some have been surprised at the lack of inclusion of Flash Player on a recent magical device,” says Lynch about the lack of support for iPhone and iPod touch, as well as the forthcoming web-centric Apple hardware, the iPad.

Adobe has previous struck out at Apple about the lack of Flash on the device, pointing out that its absence is entirely due to Apple's restrictions.

But it seems work may not have actually stopped at Adobe, which according to Lynch is, "ready to enable Flash in the browser on [Apple’s] devices if and when Apple chooses to allow that for its users, but to date we have not had the required cooperation from Apple to make this happen."
