Fox Mobile to be rebranded as Jesta Digital post buyout

Less than a month on from Jesta Group's purchase of Fox Mobile from News Corporation, the property investment specialist has decided to rebrand the firm under its own colours.

In short, it means Fox Mobile is to become Jesta Digital, acting as the firm's digital enterainment arm and retaining control over existing brands Jamba, Jamster, Mobizzo, iLove and Bitbop.

It had previously been expected that the company would be renamed Jesta Mobile Holdings.

Mobile movementJesta Group president Jason Aintabi, who previously described the move as an important opportunity for the firm to have a hand in the emerging mobile market, has been named as Jesta Digital CEO following the deal, effective immediately.

"This is a very exciting time to be involved in digital entertainment and the mobile sector," said Aintabi.

"I believe that the assets of Jesta Digital are well positioned to take advantage of the growth in mobile entertainment and the digital arenas in which we play a leading role.  I look forward to working on a day to day basis with this talented management team and all the employees in our locations around the world."

Jesta has also confirmed that existing COO Mark Anderson is set continue in his role.
