Game In Scotland 2013 to offer advice and networking for Dundee's aspiring devs

On Saturday 9 March, the Game In Scotland recruitment fair will offer aspiring programmers, animators, artists and designers an opportunity to learn more about working in the Scottish games industry.
The free event will host presentations from Scottish developers such as Tag Games, One Thumb Mobile and Ninja Kiwi, as well as spirited panel discussions and a host of networking opportunities.
Geared towards students and hobbyists with an eye on the games industry, Game In Scotland promises the chance to learn about the paths into the sector, chat with veterans of the scene and hear about the opportunities on offer in Scotland today.
Preparation
In fact, many of the studios with a showing at the event will be actively seeking talent, so attendees should come ready to hand out CVs and show off portfolios.
And once the event itself is wound up, an informal drinks do will let attendees continue their discussions well into the evening.
To find out more about Game In Scotland, or to register a free place, visit the event's website. Although it's free to attend, places will be limited, so those interested in attending should act fast.
