Gameloft brings more of its brands to iPhone

Gameloft has released two more iPhone games, both based on existing own-IP mobile titles.
Midnight Pool and Guitar Rock Tour have both gone live on the App Store this week, bringing the publisher's total iPhone catalogue to 13 titles.
It's interesting to see how they fit into the publisher's pricing strategy. Here in the UK, Guitar Rock Tour has been launched at the £5.99 price point, while Midnight Pool is £2.99.
The publisher has clear tiers of products, with its most expensive £5.99 tier also including Asphalt 4: Elite Racing, Brain Challenge, Real Football 2009 and (slightly strangely) Chess Classics.
In the £2.99 range, Midnight Pool joins Block Breaker Deluxe 2, Bubble Bash, Diamond Twister and Backgammon Classics. Below that, there's Platinum Solitaire (£2.39) and Platinum Sudoku (£1.19). And Diamond Twister Lite is a free demo.
Few publishers have released as many iPhone games as Gameloft so far, so its tiering policy will be followed with interest by its rivals.
Earlier this week, the publisher's CFO Alexandre de Rochefort told PocketGamer.biz that its 'triple-A' games at the £5.99 price point are selling strongly.
