Mobile payments provider Netsize has announced a pan-European deal with Gameloft, which will be using its mPayment platform to sell mobile games.

The deal covers premium SMS purchases, and also WAP billing on Gameloft's mobile internet site. In the UK, that also means incorporating the Payforit standard for WAP billing.

It's not a new partnership, though. Gameloft and Netsize have been working together since 2003 using various technologies.

"Our decision to work with Netsize is based on how their platform enables us to give our customers the best buying experience," says Gameloft's B2C director Eve Arakelian.

"Netsize provides a solid platform solution that does just that while at the same time being able to handle very large transaction volumes in the most efficient way."
