According to a couple of listings discovered on the PEGI game certifications website, Gameloft is preparing to launch adaptations of two of its mobile titles.

Both Pop Superstar: Road to Celebrity and Real Football 2009 have been given ratings by the PEGI board for the DSiWare platform, suggesting both game must be ready for release.

The timing also indicates Gameloft is gearing them up to be DSiWare launch titles for the US, UK and Australian release of Nintendo’s hardware updated console, which hits the shops at the very beginning of April.

Both games were well received on the mobile platform, and could be the first steps toward a new trend for the company to test out the DSi’s download service. With the sheer weight of mobile games Gameloft has in its back catalogue it could populate the DSiWare service single handed.

Should these inaugural downloads prove successful, they could also provide quite an inspiration for all the other mobile game developers looking to branch out onto new platforms.

Two small game conversions could prove to be quite big news.
