Glu's Jill Braff named as an executive to watch

Glu Mobile's SVP of global publishing Jill Braff has been named as one of 25 Digital Entertainment Executives To Watch" by tech firm Digital Media Wire.
The list aims to recognise "emerging leaders in the digital media and entertainment industry", and pitches Braff in with execs from companies like MySpace, iLike, MTV Networks, YouTube, Hulu and Facebook.
The 25 chosen execs will be honoured at the Digital Media Insider conference during January's CES show in Las Vegas.
It's some good news to end a difficult year for Glu, with 2008 having seen a plummeting share price, underperforming movie licences, big losses for Q3, the addition and speedy removal of ads from its first iPhone game, and recently-announced job losses.
Still, congratulations to Braff, who last year was also named as one of the 40 most influential people under 40 in Silicon Valley.
Her nomination in DMW's 25 is welcome, too, for the promotion it gives the wider mobile games industry.
