Mobile game publisher Good Job Games has secured a $15 million investment from Menlo Ventures.
As reported by Webrazzi, the funding ups the studio’s valuation to over $100m.
While the exact stake details remain confidential, data from Türkiye's Competition Authority shows the investment involves multiple Menlo Ventures funds: Menlo Ventures XVI, L.P., Menlo Olympus Fund I, L.P., Menlo Entrepreneurs Fund XVI, L.P., and Menlo CxO Fund XVI, L.P. The Silicon Valley firm is known for supporting early-stage companies.
The deal marks Menlo Ventures’ third investment in the games industry and its first in a Turkish startup.
Growing studio
Good Job Games was founded in 2017 by İlker Ilıcalı. The Istanbul-based studio has developed over 30 mobile games and has amassed over 100m downloads worldwide.
Some of its popular titles include Slices, Color Bump 3D, Run Race 3D, Color Fill 3D, and Epic Race 3D. Recently, it expanded its portfolio with two new puzzle games, Wonder Blast and Match Villains.
In 2023, Azur Games subsidiary AI Games FZ acquired Good Job Games' hypercasual portfolio for an undisclosed fee.
This acquisition came on the heels of Moon Active’s acquisition of Good Job Games’ Zen Match for an estimated $100m to $150m in December of the previous year.
