Swiss mobile games developer Goodville has appointed Katerina Dudinskaya as its new CEO.

She will take over from co-founder Alexey Meleshkevich, who intends to focus on the company’s long-term vision as CPO. Dudinskaya will officially step into the role on May 1st, 2025.

With Meleshkevich stepping back from day-to-day operations, Dudinskaya will be responsible for leading a fully remote team of more than 80 staff across development, live ops, marketing and player support.

Duties will also include growing the Goodville team, focusing on product innovations, and expanding the company's product, live ops and design operations.

Player wellbeing

Dudinskaya started her career at age 19 as a digital marketer. She previously worked as part of Easybrain’s marketing and growth team and has led a 70-person marketing team for Gismart.

Now 30 years old, Dudinskaya has spent the past four years as Goodville’s CMO and already expanded the studio’s audience in "tier one markets" via partnerships with global wellness initiatives and other marketing campaigns.

The company’s flagship, Goodville: Farm Game Adventure, places an emphasis on mental health and is part farming simulator, part wellbeing app. Goodville has stated that the game has over 5.5 million players and 60,000 daily active users, with 77% of its playerbase being female.

"Goodville isn’t just a game, it's a platform that helps people feel better every day. I’m honoured to lead a team so passionate about purpose-driven innovation, and I believe we’re just getting started," said Dudinskaya.

Meleshkevich commented: "From the beginning, Goodville was about building something meaningful. I’m proud of everything we’ve achieved so far, and I’m confident Katerina will take it even further with her vision and energy."

One of our Mobile Mavens, Dudinskaya has previously given her industry predictions on AI-driven game dev tools, expanded hybrid monetisation models and more.
