Google releases finalised Android 3.0 SDK for developers

Google has rolled out the full SDK for Android 3.0 or Honeycomb, giving developers access to the release of the OS designed specifically for the tablet market.
Speaking via the Android developers blog, SDK tech lead Xavier Ducrohet said studios can now access all of Honeycomb's final APIs, allowing them to both develop and publish titles on Android Market ready for 3.0 compatible devices.

"We are pleased to announce that the full SDK for Android 3.0 is now available to developers," Ducrohet said in the entry.
"Together with the new platform, we are releasing updates to our SDK Tools and ADT Plugin for Eclipse (10.0.0)."
Said updates include giving developers access to UI builder tools, enabling them to better equip their apps for the bigger screens running the OS.
The first tablets set to utilise Honeycomb are Motorola's Xoom expected to launch this week and Samsung's recently unveiled Galaxy Tab 10.1, due out in the US this March, before launching in Europe the following month.
