Greystripe claims its Ad Boosters raise click through rate of mobile ads by 300%

We last heard from Greystripe in October as it set up its Ad Boosters campaign.
Now the mobile ad network, acquired by marketing specialist ValueClick for $70 million in April, has announced the fruits of its labours and cites what it calls 'impressive' figures.
The 300x250 smartphone ads that have been powered by Greystripes' Ad Boosters have seen a 300 percent rise in click through rates compared to those ads without the feature.
'Call to action'
Ad Boosters provide interactive features around an existing ad such as multiple click options as well as a branded logo. They also come in two flavours, industry-focused units and social units.
"Consumers' mass adoption of the mobile web coupled with the rise in social media makes it a no brainer that mobile ads with social components will perform better than traditional formats," said veep of operations at Greystripe Kurt Hawks.

"We're finding, despite a smaller screen than a PC, smartphones are becoming advanced enough to deliver more than a message but a true call-to-action whether that means to find the nearest store location or participate directly in a location-based daily deal.
"Mobile ads are growing up and we're excited to see consumers respond."
