Greystripe signs Indian ad-funded mobile games deal

Greystripe has announced its latest distribution deal for its catalogue of ad-funded mobile games.
This time, it's with Indian firm Zapak Digital Entertainment, part of the Reliance ADA Group.
Greystripe's catalogue of 900+ games will be distributed through the Zapak games portal, which has 5.1 million registered users. They're starting with the WAP site, before rolling the games out on the website too.
Greystripe also has a new tagline for its white-label service, saying it's an App Store-like solution, except for ad-funded games rather than paid downloads. The company is clearly hoping to capitalise on the buzz around the iPhone.
"This strategic partnership aims to create the de facto destination site for mobile gaming in South Asia by serving the highest-quality games with the most engaging advertising experience," says Greystripe CEO Michael Chang.
