Australian developer Halfbrick has unveiled new deals to expand the availability of officially licensed Fruit Ninja produce across the globe.

On the back of existing partnerships to bring plush toys, phone cases and other produce to Europe and Asia, the studio claims it has "partnered with several leading international consumer product companies" to target further fans worldwide.

Global gains

Amongst those deals, it appears, are agreements with two new sub agents EMCI/Empire in Asia and LDI in Israel - designed to bring the game's brand to entirely new territories.

"Since Fruit Ninja is already an international phenomenon, we thought it was crucial to expand the brand's reach and engage our fruit-slicing fanatics around the world," said Halfbrick CEO Shainiel Deo.

"We have handpicked some of the best consumer product companies in the international marketplace and look forward to unveiling our line-up to old and new fans."

Halfbrick claims more than 25 million players take on the game every day, with 300 million downloads amassed across iOS and Android to date.
