Handster to provide applications for LG App Store

Alongside operating its own mobile and smartphone application store, Handster provides white label and branded solutions for other mobile retailers and hardware manufacturers.

It's now branching out, and has just struck up a deal to begin providing platform specific content to the LG App Store, including applications for the Korean mobile giant's Windows Mobile, Android and Java handsets.

The deal kicks off with a host of content specifically for LG's recently released WinMo device the LG GW550, with support soon to follow for the GM750 and GM730 smartphones.

Around 20,000 users currently visit Handster.com, making it one of the top three independent application store, and provides applications in ten different languages and supports a variety of different currencies for billing.
