Hooters licensed by Movaya for iPhone game

Just the other day we took a look at how Britvic is employing games media creators to build branded mobile titles to promote its products. And BMW has enlisted the services of iPhone developers to create a game focused on its Z4 Roadster car, so advergaming has clearly caught the attention of the mega-corporations.
Joining the fraternity of buy our adverts publishers is the US restaurant and bar chain, Hooters. The company has licensed its popular Hooters Girl Calendar - now in its 23rd year of publishing - to Movaya for an iPhone mosaic puzzle game, just released on the App Store.
This is still one of the first advergaming brands to make it to the market, however, so itll be interesting to see whether people will be willing to pay to see branded products.
To be fair, the Hooters Calendar Slider is likely to garner male interest where other products (Pepsi, for example) would struggle to prise coins from tight trouser pockets.
Our own Stu Dredge examined this new trend for branded gaming right here on PocketGamer.biz, so head on over to our Talking Point feature and let us know your thoughts on buying adverts for your iPhone.
