Last week, the assets of French mobile publisher In-Fusio were resurrected from liquidation as IF Europe.

Over on MobileGamesBlog.com, Arjan Olsder caught up with MD Sébastien Martin to find out more about the new organisation.

For example, as is typical in such buy-back cases, IF Europe will only be fulfilling contracts signed after the assets were acquired.

"In practice, we will start to pay royalties to our partners in September, depending on the agreements in place," says Martin.

Another significant issue is that IF Europe didn't buy the rights to In-Fusio's ExEn game technology. Indeed, the new company will operate in a very different way to In-Fusio by out-sourcing as much as possible when it comes to technology.

"We're not interested in developing our own technology nor in managing everything in-house. There's a lot of talented companies ... with off-the-shelves solutions, let's use them," he explains.

The first slate of new games from IF Europe are expected to be released in Q4 2009 and will include Beauty Center sequel Fashion Center, combat flight sim F-22 Raptor, and the "quite explicit" Sexy Pub.
