The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) has appointed three new board members, including Tiziano Giardini, Jennifer Estaris, and Dr. Pedro Zambon.

Tiziano Giardini is a games ecosystem strategist and co-founder of IGDA Italy, where he helped build a thriving nationwide chapter. He joined the IGDA board to promote global connections and opportunities for developers.

Jennifer Estaris is a game director known for Monument Valley 3, The Lost Forest (Monument Valley 2), and Subway Surfers and is dedicated to helping the global game developer community address environmental and societal impacts.

Furthermore, Dr. Pedro Zambon is a researcher and consultant focused on sustainable game development ecosystems in Latin America and the Global South.

He co-founded the IGDA Incubation & Acceleration SIG and founded Savegame.dev. Now on the IGDA Board, Pedro specialises in emerging markets, public funding, and international collaboration.

Building together

The IGDA said it is bidding farewell to Margaret Krohn, Natasha Skult, Rami Ismail, and Guy Blomberg, who have completed their terms and made significant contributions to expanding global support, mentorship, and event presence.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Tiziano, Jennifer, and Pedro to the IGDA Board,” said the IGDA executive director, Dr. Jakin Vela.

“Each of them brings an inspiring commitment to equity, innovation, and global collaboration. Their combined expertise will help us build a stronger, more inclusive future for game developers worldwide.”
