Intel to run Android netbooks by 2010?

Intel is apparently keen to make its processors a central plank in a new wave of Android-powered netbook computers, according to VentureBeat.
Its article suggests that the devices could be on sale this year, but that 2010 is a more likely launch date.
It's intriguing news for the many mobile games firms producing their first titles for Android handsets, offering a potential way to break into the PC gaming market.
Of course, just because there might be millions of netbooks running the same OS as mobiles doesn't mean developers will automatically be able to flit between the two hardware platforms.
However, it at least gives developers time to prepare. Those thinking of expanding onto Android could soon have another string to their bows: netbook games.
