2012 was a pretty special year for iPhone games, and it ended on a suitably classy note.
Interlocked topped the December iPhone Qi game chart with its absorbing take on three-dimensional puzzling.
Not far behind in third place, Square Enix's Final Fantasy IV marks a sizeable step forward for the classic JRPG series. This 3D update to the 1991 classic marks the point at which Eastern role-playing games started dealing with darker themes and more complex characters.
Down in sixth place, G5's Build-a-lot 4: Power Source swiftly follows up on the success of Build-a-lot 3 via more of the same engrossing property-management gameplay - this time with an eco-friendly theme.
Finally, at #10 in the chart, we have Minigore 2, the much-anticipated follow-up to the game that spawned a thousand twin-stick shooters. This one dials the monster-blasting action up to 11.
