iPhone developers encouraged to enter keywords

More and more application listings on the iPhone's App Store are putting keywords to use in helping the system track down the software consumers are looking for.
In an effort to curb the 'race to the bottom' pricing wars that have been dominating the App Store charts recently, Apple has stated that it's looking at ways to improve categorisation of the increasingly massive software catalogue.
One of these improvements is a request for developers to ensure they make full and proper use of keywords when submitting their application. Up to 255 characters are permitted for each listing to aid users in locating the software, which developers are being encouraged to make the most of.
However, it's previously been brought to light that the exploitation of irrelevant and popular keywords is also a popular method of climbing the App Store search ladder, which Apple will hopefully be looking to combat.
