App monetisation platform Tapjoy appoints new CEO

Mobile monetisation company Tapjoy has promoted Jeff Drobick as its new president and CEO.

Since 2013 Drobick acted as the firm’s chief product officer of Tapjoy. He previously headed up GeekNet Media as CEO and also spent nearly eight years at eBay in the company’s Accenture’s global technology centre.

Former Tapjoy CEO Steve Wadsworth has stepped down from the role and moved into a chairman position on the board of directors.

Moving on

“It is a great honour to follow in Steve’s footsteps as we continue to drive innovation and growth for mobile publishers seeking better monetisation and advertisers seeking a highly engaged audience,” said Drobick.

“We have a great leadership team and passionate employees helping our customers reach about 800 million consumers every month.”

Tapjoy has also promoted several other executives, including Shannon Jessup to global chief revenue officer, Benjamin Chen to SVP of global developer relations and Sarah Chafer to SVP of global performance.

Furthermore Emily McInerney was appointed global vice president of marketing, while Surendra Pathak became SVP of platform engineering and Moonsik Kang was appointed SVP of engineering.
