Ex-Zynga exec Lloyd Melnick to lead Rational's social casino efforts

Social gaming veteran Lloyd Melnick has joined PokerStars and Full Tilt Pokeroutfit Rational.

Based on the Isle of Man, the ex-Zynga and Playdom exec takes the role of director of social gaming.

Melnick will be leading the #1 real money gaming outfit into the highly completive social casino market.

As well as poker, Rational will be targeting slots and sports betting, amongst other genre.

Player-focused

"The opportunity was irresistible because of Rational's focus on the player," Melnick notes on his The Business of Social Media blog.

"This customer-centric philosophy has not yet been tried in the social space and I find it incredibly compelling."
