Medialets clocks up an iPhone billion before Apple

Separate, yet related to, the counter Apple is currently running as it races toward the one billionth App Store download, mobile analytics company Medialets has already crossed the ten figure threshold.
Medialets launched on the same day as the App Store last July, providing analytics and advertising to a host of different iPhone applications. Its apparently just processed its one billionth event, which includes advert click-throughs, statistics gathering and usage reports.
Its also been handing out some stats that will be very interesting to iPhone developers, such as the average iPhone session per user and the average number of click-throughs experienced by iPhone applications embedded adverts.
Both figures are impressively high, and makes the countdown to Apples one billionth App Store download all the more important.
