Meffys extends application deadline

Industry body the Mobile Entertainment Forum has extended the deadline for submissions to this year's Meffys awards.

Mobile firms now have until 24th April to apply - an extra week over the original deadline.

The key category for PocketGamer.biz readers is, of course, Games. But others that may be relevant include Technology Innovation; Ad Campaign; Quality of Experience; Mobile First Innovation; and Innovative Business Model.

This year's awards will be held in London's Trendy West End on 23rd June at a gala dinner.

Last year, Nokia's Hooked On: Creatures of the Deep took the Games prize, but we sense this year may see iPhone games in the running.

It costs £100 to enter for MEF members and £300 for non-members. You can find more information at the Meffys website.
