Tomorrow, with the launch of Windows 8, Microsoft will throw open the doors to its new app marketplace: the Windows Store.

And to coincide with the public launch of its tablet and PC app ecosystem, the company is hosting a series of events across the US and Europe to provide Windows 8 app developers with technical expertise and design guidance.

The Windows Store App Labs are completely free of charge and will be setting up shop in more than 30 cities. Microsoft promises attendees the opportunity to test on the latest Windows 8 devices, consult with leading design agencies and discuss your app with its team of Windows 8 experts.

US developers will find Labs running in San Francisco, Bloomington, New York and Boston. Canadian developers, meanwhile, will find workshops in Vancouver and Toronto.

Microsoft is organising Windows Store App Labs in a number of European countries, too, and developers can register for a spot in London, Paris, Milan and Amsterdam, to name but a few.

For more information on the App Labs, including a full list of the available locations, take a look at the Windows Store App Labs website.
