Microsoft sponsors Mobile Unconference's Dutch fun bus

November's Mobile Unconference in Düsseldorf has picked up a sponsor in the form of Microsoft.
The company, which launched Windows Phone 7 in Europe earlier this month, is to part fund the second ever Unconference - including bus transport - with organisers stating the firm's involvement will enable Dutch developers to make the event.
"We are very enthusiastic about this initiative to support mobile developers from Holland that go to the Mobile Unconference," said Microsoft developer evangelist Matthijs Hoekstra
"We will have Windows Phone 7 devices available during the ride so we hope to see a lot of interaction from the developers."
Two way street
Unconference, which will take place on November 15, focuses on developers from Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands, with money from the Microsoft deal set to provide a bus to transport Dutch developers to the event.
The bus will to be outfitted to support informal networking between the studios, starting off in Rotterham before stopping in Utrecht and Arnhem and arriving in Düsseldorf.
Microsoft will receive a boost from the deal, with Windows Phone 7 gaining vital exposure within the industry as a result.
Developers looking to attend should visit the event's website to sign up. Tickets cost 25.00 each.
