E3 and WWDC might be little more than hangover shrouded memories for most attendees by now, but the conference season rolls on.

Microsoft's Gamefest 2011, which focuses on Windows Phone, Xbox 360 and Games for Windows development, is set to be spread across three separate events, the first of which is bound for London on July 14.

The two day conference will, according to Microsoft, encompass both the big and the small, mixing those working on headline franchises with more modest studios with a mobile focus.

Little and large

"This year's event...will include presentations delivered by professionals with experience developing solutions for the industry's leading titles," the company said of the London leg.

"Attendees from small game studios to the largest game publishers will have an opportunity to learn about the state of the business, discover new opportunities for reaching and amazing their customers, and explore the latest tools and technologies for creating entertainment on Microsoft platforms."

Tracks already confirmed include a look at ad-ready game development for Windows Phone, and the evolution of user generated content.

Early bird tickets for Gamefest 2011 London, which will take place at Chelsea Football Club, can be picked up for £250 before June 24, jumping to £300 thereafter. On site tickets will be sold for £400.

More details can be found on the Gamefest website.
