Mobile Pie on board for LAUNCH: Future Gaming & Digital Conference 2012

Following its successful Meet the Press event at the start of April, organisers behind this year's LAUNCH: Future Gaming & Digital Conference have lifted the lid on the first speakers due to take to the stage.

From a mobile perspective, the headline act is Mobile Pie's creative director Will Luton, who will take part in an as of yet undefined panel during the two day conference in Birmingham's Science Park this November.

Three themes

"The annual LAUNCH conference builds on the Science Park's reputation for delivering the UK's most active support programme for the burgeoning digital games industry," said business development manager at Birmingham Science Park, Matthew Hidderley.

"The conference is focused around three key themes; launch a career, launch a business and launch a technology."

Other speakers confirmed included Codemasters CEO Rob Cousens, Playground Games creative director Ralph Fulton and CEO Trevor Williams, and Sega studio manager Sion Lenton.

Further speakers will be announced moving forward, with tickets for the event - which will run from 13-14 November - now available from the LAUNCH website.
