Mobile publisher Artificial Life expanding to the US

Hong Kong-based mobile publisher Artificial Life has announced plans to open an office in the US to further its activities there.
The office will be based in Los Angeles, and is due to open by the end of September. The company says it's a response to the increasing amount of business it's doing in North America.
"After many years of doing business successfully in Asia and Europe we are about to return our focus to where we originally started - in the USA," says CEO Eberhard Schoneburg.
"Our business is expanding strongly and we have won many major clients and partners in the USA, especially in California. Therefore, we have decided to open an office in Los Angeles to be close to the big media companies, the carriers, the gaming companies, the music industry and the major Hollywood studios."
However, he also says that the US office will focus on sales, marketing and client support rather than actual development, which will be kept in Asia due to lower costs.
Meanwhile, Artificial Life has also announced its first iPhone game this week. VBotAttack hasn't got a release date yet, however.
