Mobile video and ad delivery firm Transpera lands $2 million in funding

Even 12 months ago mobile advertising was difficult to get excited about, but it seems venture capitalists can't pour enough money into this new realm.
Transpera has just entered a second round of funding, according to MocoNews, and already coined another $2 million on top of the $10 million it already raised in 2008.
The company delivers mobile videos as part of its mobile advertising package, and clients such as CBS Interactive, Disney, MTV, and Showtime, which all use the ad platform to monetise their huge amount of mobile content.
Transpera has yet to comment on its funding plans, but has stated that its average CPM for mobile video ads is around $30 - $40, and that adds up to a pretty impressive return.
