Mobilebits founder Karsten Wysk joins roster for AppCon's Dundee debit

Announced in dribs and drabs, the organisers behind this years inaugural International App Conference (AppCon 2010) in Dundee have finally revealed the full roster of speakers due to make an appearance the event.

Added to the existing line up is German developer Mobilebits' founder Karsten Wysk, who will host a session on cutting out the publisher.

Dundee based iPhone studio Waracle is also sending its lead programmer Mike Wharton. The firm has particular experience in the social networking and community based elements of mobile apps.

Lengthy line up

"The growth of the new app markets has been truly extraordinary, encompassing new platforms, new types of content and new challenges for creators," said AppCon project manager Andy Mackenzie.

"The AppConference and AppJam will look at all of these issues and our speaker line-up reflects this diversity. We're excited to welcome such a strong, experienced and expert range of speakers to participate in this first conference."

Both Wysk and Wharton join a roster that includes Cobra Mobile MD Mark Ettle and Finblade head and IOMO founder John Chasey, as well as Nokia's developer focused arm Forum.Nokia.

AppCon 2010 will run from November 8-10 at Discovery Point in Dundee. Tickets for the event are available for £125 from its official website.
