Mpowerplayer hires Biz Dev VP and promises social features

Mobile games discovery firm Mpowerplayer has announced the appointment of Craig Dalton as its VP of business development.
He'll be in charge of establishing strategic relationships with mobile operators and other distribution partners to use the company's game trial and merchandising technology.
Dalton joins from MMS firm Hook Mobile, but before that worked in business development for mobile games publisher I-play.
"Craig's knowledge of the mobile and social media sectors fits perfectly into Mpowerplayer's strategy moving forward," says company CEO Michael Powers. "I've worked with Craig since his time at I-play and he is uniquely qualified to push the envelope in socializing mobile content."
Talking of which... The company's Twitter feed says it's "looking forward to introducing some social features for the mobile game community at GDC". We're looking forward to finding out just what those are.
