Bulkypix makes Breitling's National Championship Air Races iOS game

In a move designed to tie in with its sponsorship of the National Championship Air Races, high-tech watch manufacturer Breitling has launched its debut app on iOS.

Breitling Reno Air Races, which can be downloaded for free, is designed to replicate a real life contest that takes place in Nevada this September, and has been developed by Revo Solutions and Bulkypix.

Looking for a high flyer

It's a release that has the potential to benefit both parties, giving the motorsport some valuable exposure and acting as an additional promo tool for sponsor Breitling.

Its launch comes off the back of the major success Barclaycard enjoyed on the App Store with two Fishlabs releases, Waterslide Extreme and Rollercoaster Extreme, the latter of which topped 12.5 million downloads in its first five months.

Breitling Reno Air Races' hook, according to the firm, is its multiplayer, which allows up to 8 players to take each other on over wi-fi or 3G.

Its debut follows the release of InfoTechMobile's Air Races last August.
