Hyper-casual games publisher Ketchapp has brought Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia IP to mobile.
Called Prince of Persia: Escape, the runner made its way onto Android and iOS devices on September 27th.
Inspired by the level-based platforming core of the original Prince of Persia, it seems not too different to Super Mario Run and adopts the runner-formula. Our sister-site Pocket Gamer has delivered its thoughts on the release.

The game marks the first time that Ketchapp has adopted an IP from its owner Ubisoft and could be a sign that the publisher is willing to utilise its plethora of IP more effectively in the mobile space.
Initially acquired by the French giant in 2016, the move was seen as Ubisoft strengthening its place in the mobile market.
Ubisoft’s growing stable of mobile developers has provided a steady flow of income for the company. Mobile sales were apparently stable for Ubisoft as total revenue doubled to $464m for Q1 2018.
