Playrix’s match-three puzzle game Homescapes generated revenues of $420 million in its first year.

According to market data firm Sensor Tower, $28.5 million of that came in September alone.

The month's haul meant the puzzle game ranked 29th among all apps worldwide for gross revenue.

The lion’s share of overall revenue came from the US and accounted for 42 per cent of in-app purchases to date.

Downloaded

Regarding downloads, Homescapes has snagged 82.8 million worldwide to date, with 63 per cent of that coming from Google Play.

In September, the game is said to have generated 3.86 million downloads which places it at 188th regarding games downloads on a global scale.

Playrix’s other title Gardenscape recently hit the $880 million milestone, which means that the games developer has made a cool $1.3 billion between the two games from in-app purchases.

Playrix was recently ranked eighth on PocketGamer.biz's Top 50 Developer 2018 list.
