Finnish studio Seriously has soft-launched Best Fiends Stars on iOS and Android devices.

The title is the third entry in the Best Fiends series after Best Fiends Forever released in 2016. Previously the company had soft-launched Best Fiends Rivals, which then went on to be cancelled. 

Best Fiends Stars takes place in the world of Minutia and sees users follows hero Temper as the creature collects treasure fallen from the sky. By doing this, Temper can reunite the Best Fiends before the evil Slugs get their dirty hands on it.

The game is a free-to-play puzzler that features cute characters with special abilities that combine together for magical boosters, which players must utilise to help complete the most challenging levels.

Play offline

Players can collect stars to compete with others from around the globe, while levels can also be played offline. Leaderboards are accessible for users to track their stats as well as fight it out to be crowned the top critter.

At the time of writing Best Fiends Stars is only available to download in Poland and Finland.

The Best Fiends franchise has proven to be a big hit for Seriously, with 2018 being the firm’s biggest year yet as revenue grew 65 per cent year-on-year to $69 million.
