Nintendo DSi launches in China at last

The Nintendo DS has seen a lot of milestones all land at once recently, what with becoming the most popular games console of all time in the UK, and the new large form factor model (the DSi XL) being launched in Japan.
Keeping the momentum going as the end of the decade approaches, Nintendo has evidently finalised a deal with local, officially approved Chinese distributor iQue finally bringing the DSi to China.
Given that the DS is one of the few legal game systems in China, the option to start using downloadable DSiWare software is likely to be a huge draw to the Chinese Gamer.
The DSi will come packaged with Nintendogs and 1,000 DSiWare points, which will soon be quite valuable as the company is apparently already hard at work localising the current downloadable games catalogue.
