Nokia outlines the benefits of distribution through Ovi Store

Over on Gamasutra, Nokia has been talking about how developers can get the most from distributing their mobile games and applications through its new Ovi Store - detailing the available platforms developers can choose from for digital distribution.
A rundown of the different SDKs available to developers is offered, highlighting their ease of use and range of tools, including Flash Lite, Java, Symbian S60 and, at the bottom of the list, N-Gage.
It hasn't been particularly clear whether or not the Ovi Store was to incorporate Nokia's previous games distribution system, and while the Showroom and Arena are to remain in full operation it seems N-Gage games will also be brought under the Ovi umbrella.
It also takes the opportunity to point out the now industry standard 70/30 split on sales is also to be used for Ovi Store distribution.
