Nokia seeking 500 gamers to promote Reset Generation

Nokia is looking for 500 gamers to join its S60 Ambassadors initiative, with the specific aim of spreading the word about N-Gage game Reset Generation.
The campaign was announced on the S60 Living blog late last month (okay, so we're a bit late on this).
The idea is that people sign up, get a copy of the game, and then go out and tell their friends about it. We think it might be the first time a specific N-Gage title has been used in the S60 Ambassadors scheme.
What's more, the 50 "most engaged" Ambassadors at the end of the 12-week campaign will be rewarded with activation codes for ten N-Gage games.
We tend to focus on the high-profile marketing around N-Gage titles, but this under-the-radar scheme is an interesting example of how Nokia is trying to build a viral buzz around its mobile gaming platform.
If the campaign works, hopefully more N-Gage titles will benefit from this kind of push in 2009.
