Nokia World 2012 bound for Helsinki in September

Nokia has announced its annual Nokia World conference will this year take place in Finnish capital Helsinki.
The manufacturer's big press splash, which last year played host to the unveiling of Nokia's new range of Lumia Windows Phones and its refreshed Series 40 Asha line-up, will run for two days from 25 September.

The move back to Nokia's home territory comes after 2011 saw Nokia World head to London, with CEO Stephen Elop lifting the lid on the firm's revised smartphone strategy.
Indeed, Nokia World 2012 should be a far less tumultuous affair than its predecessor, which came after a year of upheaval for the firm Symbian and MeeGo effectively sacrificed as Nokia put pen to paper on a deal with Microsoft to back Windows Phone.
Symbian, however, can still boast one new device, with Nokia revealing the new 41MP sensor equipped PureView 808 at Mobile World Congress.
