One More Thing conference founder Anthony Agius looking to crowd fund TV show on iOS development

One thing most mobile start ups aren't short of is questions.
Take MacTalk forums co-founder Anthony Agius' experience with his inaugural One More Thing conference, hosted in Melbourne in August.
Over 160 people turned up to hear 11 iOS developers from across Australia detail their success on the App Store. In total, attendees delivered over 100 questions for the speakers, less than a dozen of which were actually answered due to time constraints.
Agius' reaction is to attempt to deliver a television show on the dos and don'ts of iOS development, providing start ups and studios with the kind of resource that answers all their queries. Only problem is, he needs money.
Spreading the costs
"There's a big iOS developer scene here in Australia, so we really want to support that by getting this online television series off the ground and spreading the Aussie iOS love across the globe," says Agius.
"We will interview some amazing iOS developers about what it takes to do well in this industry, and some of the unexpected challenges that come up."
Agius is looking to crowdfund the show, with a total of $25,000 needed according to his calculations. Said fees will be split between one-off costs, and those that will need to be paid episode to episode.
"I don't plan to make a profit off the show. Unless the project exceeds the funding target, I won't make a cent," assures Agius.
"All raised funds will be put into the development of the show and promoting it. I just want to cover the costs to get it made, enjoy the experience, produce a show I can be proud of and create a valuable information source for those wanting to be indie iOS developers."
