Organisers behind this year's Develop Liverpool have lifted the lid on speakers due to take to the stage at the Hilton Liverpool on November 24.

Among those presenting on the day are OpenFeint general manager Dan Keegan, Intel's senior application engineer Doug Binks and EA Tech's Stephan Frye.

Speak out

According to details released on the Develop Liverpool website, OpenFeint's Dan Keegan will be discussing the “implications of the rise of F2P games on mobile."

"He'll provide an overview of the F2P model, explain why these titles are the highest grossing, and discuss best practices on launching a F2P game and leveraging channel and distribution partners," outlines the conference program.

Doug Binks' talk, titled 'Dynamic Resolution Rendering', will focus on both the basic and advanced techniques required to improve the gaming experience.

EA Tech's Frye will be discussing the use of animation and physics in games, using EA's sport franchises as a backdrop.

Developing discussion

The opening keynote will be given by Micheal Denny, senior VP of SCE Worldwide studios, along with Graeme Ankers, John Rostron and Matt Southern, also of Sony.

All three will discuss topics such as "PlayStation's casual and digital strategy", "Differentiating the Vita from other handhelds" and "Keeping the casual and social market audiences engaged in console gaming."

Other speakers include Graham McAllister of Vertical Slice, Dr. Bennett Foddy of Oxford University, Gareth Jenkins of 36peas, John Nash of Blitz Games Studios, Wolfgang Hamann of Koolhaus Games and Chris Wright of GamesAnalytics.
