Orange UK outlines iPad contract plans

Apples 7 million+ selling touchscreen tablet could be set for a further sales surge here in the UK, as the operator Orange revealed its pricing strategy on subsidised iPads.
Listed on the operator's newly launched registration page as coming soon, the iPad with wi-fi and 3G will only be available on a 24-month plan.
1GB of anytime data, 1GB of quiet time data, and unlimited access to BT Openzone hotspots are included across the board, with the quiet period designated as midnight to 4pm.
Model prices
The 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB iPad models will retail for £199, £249, and £349 respectively on contract, while the monthly tariff itself rises from £25 for existing Orange customers to £27 for new clientele.
Itll be interesting to see if any rival networks roll out monthly price plans for Apples market gobbling tablet, particularly in the run up to the crucial Christmas holiday season.
Not that iPads dominance in the tablet sphere shows any sign of abating off-contract, if a recent study by VoucherCodes.co.uk into brand awareness is anything to go by.
